The Senior Data Scientist will develop, validate, harden, deploy, and sustain machine-learning and network-analytics capabilities supporting supply-chain risk management, behavioral anomaly detection, and cyber alert triage.This is a hands-on technical role for a data scientist who can move from prototype analytics to scalable, explainable capabilities operating within a secure Government environment. This position is contingent upon contract award, currently anticipated October 1, 2026. Candidates must be available to begin work by October 15, 2026, if the contract is awarded and all applicable pre-employment and Government access requirements are satisfied. Key Responsibilities• Design, build, tune, validate, and harden machine-learning and advanced analytic models.

  • Develop graph-based analytics supporting supplier, beneficial-ownership, and supply-chain relationship analysis.
  • Perform entity resolution across disparate Government, commercial, and open-source datasets.
  • Develop and maintain data-processing and analytic pipelines.
  • Build behavioral anomaly detection models that identify changes in host and user activity.
  • Develop cascade-based analytics that consolidate large cyber-alert volumes into prioritized warnings.
  • Establish transparent baseline models before applying advanced machine-learning techniques.
  • Develop interpretable and explainable models with source-traceable outputs.
  • Define and evaluate model performance metrics and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor feature, input, and model drift and support model retraining.
  • Conduct production-scale performance testing and optimize analytics for large datasets.
  • Package validated analytics for deployment into secure Government environments.
  • Support containerized deployment, including dependency management, SBOMs, vulnerability scanning, and release documentation.
  • Document model assumptions, methodologies, constraints, validation results, and technical configurations.
  • Incorporate analyst and investigator feedback into model improvement cycles.
  • Work closely with Morgan 6 technical leadership, data analysts, and Government mission partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a closely related technical field.
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, testing, and validating machine-learning or advanced analytic models.
  • Experience working with large, complex, multi-source datasets.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, anomaly detection, predictive modeling, or related analytic techniques.
  • Experience designing and evaluating model performance.
  • Ability to develop reproducible and auditable analytical workflows.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex analytical methods and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with analysts, engineers, and Government stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Government security and system access.
  • Must be available to start by October 15, 2026.

Education & Eligibility

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Dual Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Must meet all Government security, suitability, and system-access requirements associated with the position.

Compensation varies based on factors such as location, experience, and skill set. For positions based in California, Colorado, D.C., Maryland, New York, or Washington, the salary range for this position is $135,000 – $225,000 annually.
