Kmart’s Corporate Systems team supports the platforms and technology that enable more than 50,000 team members across Kmart and Target. Working closely with our People & Capability function, the team is responsible for ensuring our HR technology ecosystem continues to evolve and deliver great outcomes for both leaders and team members.
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team on a 12‑month fixed term contract. Acting as the bridge between our Melbourne-based People & Capability stakeholders and our Bengaluru-based technology teams, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering improvements across our SuccessFactors landscape. This is a business analysis role first and foremost, suited to someone who understands HR technology, enjoys solving business problems, and can confidently translate requirements into outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and opportunities.
- Acting as the link between People & Capability teams, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Supporting initiatives including Discount Card Digitisation, Workplace Adjustment automation, Offboarding and Alumni Experience, and employee certification integrations.
- Mapping processes, documenting requirements, and producing clear functional artefacts to support delivery.
- Collaborating with SuccessFactors specialists and engineers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and system capabilities.
- Supporting testing, change activities, and business readiness across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve employee experience and streamline people processes through technology.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise applications environments.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and how it supports People & Capability processes.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and document solutions.
- Ability to confidently communicate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple teams and priorities.
- Experience supporting HR systems projects, integrations, automation initiatives, or process improvements.
- A pragmatic, organised approach and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous SuccessFactors configuration experience is advantageous, but not required.
