About the role

The People Systems Team has an exciting opportunity for a People Systems and Reward Analyst to join the team. In this role you’ll manage the administration for the People Systems and Rewards program to provide data-driven analysis, insights and recommendations to ensure the People Delivery teams and leaders have accurate data to streamline processes to provide inform decisions.

This is a permanent role based out of our Collins street location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver people analytics, reporting and insights to support workforce, rewards and strategic people initiatives, leveraging HR systems and connected data sources.
  • Develop and maintain self-service reporting solutions and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, reporting platforms and Excel to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and support remuneration and rewards programs, including annual review cycles, position grading, salary benchmarking and out-of-cycle remuneration activities.
  • Manage recurring rewards processes and employee recognition initiatives, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Conduct data quality audits, reporting analysis and post-review evaluations to identify trends, improve data integrity and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide expert advice on people systems, reporting capabilities and rewards processes.
  • Support the enhancement of People Systems through testing, troubleshooting, requirements gathering and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, external reporting and compliance activities while maintaining policies, documentation and governance standards.
  • These are written in a concise, job-ad style and focus on outcomes rather than detailed tasks.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing and administering reward processes, including salary reviews, bonus programs, employee benefits and non-monetary recognition
  • Understanding of compensation frameworks and job evaluation systems, including familiarity with tools like Mercer IPE and external salary benchmarking practices
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Excel (including advanced functions and macros) and other data visualization tools
  • Experience with People systems (e.g., HRIS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) for system administration, data entry and reporting
  • Attention to detail in managing data accuracy, processing reward programs and preparing reports
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with internal teams, managers and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of compliance and employment legislation related to compensation, remuneration and benefits.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and offer data-driven solutions
  • Ability to distil complex data and analytics into easily understood information leaders can utilise to inform business decisions
