Job Summary
Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement
· Analyze existing Finance Operations processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational improvement.
· Document current-state workflows and assist in designing future-state processes that improve efficiency and scalability.
· Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives supporting Finance Operations and MSP customer processes.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on key finance systems (Workday, Beeline, VNDLY, SAP Fieldglass, etc.).
· Ensure improvements, enhancement, and deployments have tangible ROI tracking and reporting to Pinnacle's Leadership Team.
Automation & AI Enablement
· Partner with the AI Center of Excellence to evaluate and implement practical AI and automation solutions within Finance Operations.
· Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to improve productivity and decision-making.
· Assist in developing automation solutions using available business technologies and low-code platforms.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
· Develop advanced Excel models, reports, and dashboards that improve operational visibility and decision-making.
· Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
· Support the development of key performance indicators and operational metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Finance, Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to understand business challenges and recommend solutions.
· Participate in implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
· Help drive adoption of new tools and best practices throughout the Finance Operations organization.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required
· Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Finance Operations, Public Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Business Process Improvement.
· Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and financial modeling.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated curiosity about technology and continuous process improvement.
· Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Preferred
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate.
· Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
· Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools.
· Familiarity with AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative AI applications.
· Experience supporting MSP, staffing, workforce solutions, or professional services organizations.
