Python Full Stack Engineer

Archetype is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in building a multi-tenant, cloud-based case management platform for the Auto Repossession domain.

In this role, you will work across both front-end and back-end development, collaborating closely with the Technical Lead and the wider delivery team. We actively use AI-powered development tools as part of our engineering workflow, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable using these tools to improve productivity, problem-solving, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain operational dashboards, including KPI summaries, filters, sortable case tables, and role-based views for different users.

• Develop field-facing workflows that allow agents to confirm on-site activity, submit case claims, and track case status in real time.

• Design and implement features for a multi-tenant platform, ensuring appropriate tenant data isolation and access control.

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular or React, including supporting the migration and modernization of existing applications.

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and work with external partner integrations, with attention to API versioning and idempotency.

• Write efficient PostgreSQL queries and contribute to database schema design for a tenant-aware operational data model.

• Support legacy data migration activities, including schema transformation, data cleansing, validation, and migration.

• Collaborate with the Technical Lead, Business Analyst, QA, and other team members to convert user stories into tested, production-ready features.

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and demos.

• Use AI coding tools as part of the development workflow for activities such as code generation, debugging, code review, and technical research.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4–6 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Hands-on production experience working with both Angular and React.

• Experience in back-end development using Python.

• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL development and database schema design.

• Comfortable working across the full technology stack, from UI development and API integration to database changes.

• Experience working with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS/Aurora, Cognito, or similar cloud services.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

• Active and regular experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT as part of the software development workflow.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on multi-tenant SaaS applications.

• Experience with real-time or event-driven systems, including notifications and webhooks.

• Experience supporting data migration, transformation, or legacy system modernization projects.
