Full description

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the technical quality assurance and control systems used to prevent defects in the software delivered products for the TFDM and ERAM programs. Duties include defining and implementing standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client and/or company software products along with providing Cost Account Management (CAM) budget financial status reporting for the TFDM and ERAM programs. Using existing or developed systems, identifying failure trends and verification consistency of design standards throughout the entire product software lifecycle, from design through delivery. Analyzes post-delivery reports and feedback for trends and recommends actions to correct procedural, product, or process deficiencies. IMPACT: Influences development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results. Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of function’s strategy and operations. Leads and manages works of other technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs.

COMPLEXITY: Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation. Develops solutions that are highly innovative, and achieved through research and integration of best practices.

COMMUNICATION: Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project. Works to convince others to accept area’s view/current practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.

LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Has in-depth understanding of technical software principles, theories, concepts, and their application across range of programs. Serves as a subject matter expert within technical domain area. Requires BS degree and or 7 years of prior relevant experience.

The qualifications are:

  • Past software development and Quality Assurance knowledge supporting the ERAM & TFDM programs.
  • Experience using the Engineering Edge and BPSL software, test, and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Cost Account Management experience statusing financial budgets
  • Experience supporting FAA programs
  • AS9100D and DO-278A Standard knowledge
  • BS degree and or 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust

Pay Range:

Pay Range $139,100.00 - $251,450.00
