The Opportunity:
The AIA Australia brand is experiencing rapid growth and as a result are hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to work as part of a high performing and collaborative brand and content team. This exciting role will work to bring AIA’s purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives to life through high-quality, strategically aligned creative outputs.
Within this role you will deliver end-to-end design solutions across brand, campaign and corporate initiatives, ensuring all creative work is engaging, on-brand and executed to a premium standard. Working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, ambassadors, and sponsorships (including New Balance, Endota, Melbourne Victory and Collingwood Football Club to name a few), the Senior Graphic Designer will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, contributing to impactful storytelling, strong brand presence and integrated marketing outcomes across the enterprise.
The successful candidate would be responsible for:
- Develop high-quality creative assets across multiple channels
- Design campaign creative, sponsorship assets, event collateral, presentations, brochures, reports and long-form documents
- Translate briefs and strategic objectives into clear, engaging visual communications
- Manage projects from initial briefing through to final delivery
- Work independently whilst collaborating closely with a tight knit and collegiate Brand & Marketing team
- Work closely with external creative agencies, photographers, printers, video editors, social media agencies and production suppliers
- Support the delivery of sponsorship and partnership creative across sporting
- Develop creative assets for campaigns, ambassador activity, events and activations
- Contribute to animation, motion graphics and multimedia content development where required
- Bring digital-first thinking and contemporary creative approaches to campaign and content development including use of AI tools
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Demonstrate experience across agency, entertainment / sports, major corporate or consumer brand environments
- Possess strong portfolio experience across both campaign creative and long-form corporate design
- Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Have experience working autonomously while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate advanced capability across:• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- PowerPoint and presentation design
- Experience in animation, after effects, multimedia and motion graphics will be highly regarded.
