Purpose of Job

Report into the Finance Controlling team and support the three portfolios - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Capital Portfolio Management, Integrated Financial Reporting and Business Building functions.

The role requires strong Power BI capability, with exposure to AI-enabled tools, to translate business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics and automation solutions that improve decision support and process efficiency across SA Finance Controlling.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support monthly capital reporting and active capital management, including rolling capital plan cycles;
  • Support stakeholder engagement by preparing capital performance insights and forecast updates for business leaders;
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards by preparing data, updating models, and ensuring reports are accurate and fit for use by Financial Controlling teams and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Apply AI and automation tools, including Copilot where appropriate, to streamline recurring reporting activities and reduce manual effort;
  • Support business users with data and reporting needs by troubleshooting issues, improving data quality, and enabling self-service analytics;
  • Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve reporting processes across FP&A, Capital Portfolio Management, Business Building and IVC;
  • Build trusted working relationships with Finance and business stakeholders to understand reporting pain points and enable practical data solutions;
  • Seek prospects for personal growth - implement and track a personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.

Formal Education

  • University Bachelor's Degree

Working Experience

  • 6 years relevant experience
  • PowerBI experience, data analytics experience, business intelligence, business performance reporting.
