The opportunity to join our team

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Product Insurance team as Senior Product Manager, Product Insurance. You will help manage, monitor and maintain the insurance offers within Wealth Product’s Corporate Super portfolio, ensuring the Trustee’s Insurance Management Framework obligations are effectively executed. Working with internal stakeholders and external partners, including insurers and consultants, you will support strong member outcomes through effective insurance product management, governance and delivery.

This role provides the opportunity to lead important insurance initiatives, support new business opportunities and influence improvements across Master Trust products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the insurance component within Corporate Super products, including competitor and industry awareness.
  • Act as a key point of reference for insurance product queries from internal and external stakeholders across Master Trust products.
  • Manage the end-to-end insurance re-rate process and support efficient and effective delivery of re-rates, with a strong understanding of Tailored Corporate inurance pricing.
  • Support new business opportunities aligned to the enterprise growth strategy.
  • Execute and oversee obligations under the Insurance Management Framework and supporting work instructions.
  • Maintain disclosure and policy governance, including product disclosures and supporting insurance policy documents.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement on improvements to insurance arrangements and participate in cross-functional working groups.
  • Identify compliance events and continuous improvement opportunities across insurance disclosures and customer-facing channels.
  • Coach and mentor Product Managers in stakeholder relationships, insurance tenders and policy reviews.
  • Proactively manage risk, perform required controls and escalate events, issues or breaches.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar product management role.
  • An undergraduate qualification in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Superannuation studies, such as an ASFA Diploma or postgraduate qualification, are desirable.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across insurers, legal, operations, distribution and product teams.Strong advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modelling, reporting, and the development of macro-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Strong financial services knowledge and experience working with distribution, administration, operations, marketing, product and finance.
  • Strong implementation, analytical, problem-solving and delivery skills.
  • Advanced Excel including data anaysis, modelling, reporting and the devepolment of macro-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • A strong understanding of the employer superannuation environment.
  • Understanding of the legislative and regulatory requirements for insurance within superannuation.
  • Strong knowledge of group insurance products and industry trends.
