The opportunity
As part of the Global Compensation and Digital HR team, the Business Analyst HRIS brings experience and expertise in the administration, support, and optimization of enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms and related HR technology solutions on a global scale. The successful candidate contributes to system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, new capability implementations, and deployments across locations, while supporting recurring business processes and providing end-user assistance. Across all initiatives, the incumbent performs initial functional analysis and collaborates with internal teams and business stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and support the delivery of business and technology objectives.
The role
- Contribute to Dayforce HCM and its related modules administration for all Gildan locations and provide guidance to business leads and subject matter experts throughout the projects.
- Take charge of initiatives part of the Digital HR journey, by providing solutions allowing them to further digitalize the HR function.
- Provide second level support to users, whenever required.
- Maintain PeopleSoft configuration to align to business evolution.
- Maintain PeopleSoft user accounts to provide accurate functional and data access.
- Provide training to users to ensure proper system usage.
- Create and maintain business processes and application procedures.
- Define and understand requirements in a multi-country environment.
- Analyze users' reporting requirements and develop queries and improve data integrity for reporting accuracy.
The requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, management or human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8 to 10 years of experience managing HRIS. Dayforce experience is preferred but not required, and candidates eager to learn the platform will be considered.
- Experience in an international organization is a plus, including experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Solution oriented, capacity to search for answers, proactive in users’ issue resolution.
- Must be able to speak and write in English fluently in a global support context (common language).
- Strong analytical abilities, organized, autonomous.
- Capacity to work in a collaborative environment and be a team player.
- Ability to translate technical or systems concepts in HR/users’ language.
