We are now looking for a Support Engineer to join Konecranes' Port Services team in Hyvinkää.

Would you be our new Support Engineer?
As a Support Engineer, you will join an international Port Services team supporting quotation activities and service solutions for port equipment around the world. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, procurement specialists, project managers and sales teams to prepare quotations, cost calculations and delivery scopes for customer projects.
Your work consists of gathering and analyzing technical and commercial information from different stakeholders and systems, preparing cost calculations, supporting RFQ processes and ensuring that quotations are delivered according to internal processes. You will also contribute to improving quotation quality by comparing estimated costs with actual project outcomes and supporting continuous development of the offering process.
The role combines technical problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration and analytical work in an international environment. You will become part of a team of automation, electrical and mechanical engineering professionals and work closely with colleagues across different countries and functions.
This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be employed by Biisoni and work on assignment at Konecranes. The role follows a hybrid working model and you will meet your colleagues at our Hyvinkää office at least once a week. The preferred start date is during September 2026.
What are we looking for?
You may already have gained some experience in technical roles within industrial companies, or you could be at an earlier stage of your career with a strong motivation to learn and develop your expertise in a global engineering environment. You have a relevant educational background in industrial Engineering, such as Automation or Software Engineering.
You are proficient in IT tools, including MS Office. Previous experience with SAP, Salesforce, or Teamcenter is considered an asset. A basic understanding of automation systems, industrial communication networks or PLC environments is highly valued and will help you succeed in this role.
As a person, you are eager to learn and develop your expertise in our products and services. You are proactive and take ownership of your responsibilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as you will work daily with both internal and external stakeholders. Fluent spoken and written English skills are essential.
