Project Manager I – CMS
The Project Manager plays a key role in leading cross functional commercialization projects from concept to completion. This position partners with teams across Operations, R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Sales to manage project timelines, budgets, product launches, manufacturing transitions, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with the ability to drive multiple projects forward while ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross functional commercialization projects from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate product specifications, manufacturing trials, site transitions, artwork approvals, and product claims processes.
- Monitor project progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve risks or challenges.
- Facilitate supplier transitions, evaluate project outcomes, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of project management experience, or 4 years of relevant professional experience including 2 years of project management experience.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and adapt to changing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing project management experience.
- Customer service or customer-facing experience.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience managing product commercialization, new product launches, or supply chain transition projects.
- Experience working in a fast-paced consumer products or manufacturing environment.
