We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers and developers to ensure the quality of our software products through manual and automated testing. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn about testing methodologies, automation tools, and the software development lifecycle, while contributing to product stability and reliability.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and edge cases.
  • Test Case Creation: Assist in creating and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation based on product requirements.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla), providing clear steps to reproduce issues.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle from the start.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within project timeframes.
  • Experience of testing back-end systems, APIs and querying relational databases
  • Experience of working using agile development methodologies
