Product Manager – Enterprise Data
$101,504 - $125,868 / year minimum starting pay
Job Level: Supervisor
Location: Columbia, Missouri (On-site, Full-time)
Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. What You Will Be Doing:
Responsible for operational planning, creative problem-solving, and accountability for key metrics with the Enterprise Data organization. Lead and guide technical leads and managers with project experience relating to data analytics, data science & data engineering. Create ways to increase operational efficiencies, automating them where possible, to enable more technical & analytical delivery from Data Product teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing teams.
- 6+ years of experience with research and/or operational management, development projects relating to data science, AI, or familiarity with key concepts in each field typically required.
- Strong knowledge and experience with any project management software.
- Ability to work in a rapid paced environment, with a desire to make significant impacts and to learn and apply new technologies.
- Superior service ethic, with a strong self-directed work focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be an excellent communicator (oral and written) with sound analytical and presentation skills.
- Resourcefulness and ability to work proactively and independently.
- Successful candidates must possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to interface with a wide range of personnel, solve problems, resolve conflicts, and build relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
