Job Summary
The Sr. Technology Product Manager will be responsible for helping establish the long-term vision and strategy of Vistra products or value streams in the nuclear space. This role will focus on the Connected Worker platform in close partnership with the business, including Electronic Work Packages (EWP). They collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to identify and define stakeholder needs, understand the solution context, and develop the product vision, roadmap and features required to support a suite of applications. The role is responsible for products of $5MM+ in value.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
•Meet technology and business goals - products and solutions must meet economic business goals established by the portfolio
•Develop a clear model of how the solution provides value to stakeholders
•Understand the cost structure and license models of all components and suppliers
•Create and manage necessary pricing and/or revenue generating elements
•Develop and manage measurement models (i.e. ROI, NPS) to communicate business and technology value
•Monitor market conditions and the competitive landscape to identify key issues that may impact the product pipeline and value
•Get it built – collaborate and facilitate with development and business teams to deliver required functionality
•Understand stakeholder needs
•Own and champion the prioritization of work
•Ensure product completeness and quality
•Champion the development and communication of the product vision and roadmap
•Define releases and program increments
•Ensure product alignment with technology standards (architecture, delivery, security, compliance, etc.)
•Participate in and drive demos
•Get it off the shelf - collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are deployed and consumed/adopted
•Leverage support - ensure products are supported and enhanced to create continuous flow of value and adhere to future-state architecture principles
•Manage the end-to-end development of product strategies and execution across cross-functional teams from inception through launch
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
·4+ years of experience with project management, agile practices, and/or product owner techniques
·Display management and leadership skills for enterprise-wide initiatives with strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
·Working knowledge of technology best practices, methodologies and processes (e.g., ISO 9000, ITIL, CMM, SDLC).
·Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with business and technology stakeholders and management.
·Utilize evidence-based decision making to communicate with stakeholders and development teams.
·Balance the drive for business growth with necessary technology processes and procedures.
·An energetic, hands-on, enthusiastic, results-oriented team player, capable of adding significant value to the existing team, as well as implementing strategic solutions.
·Will possess and exhibit a high level of integrity.
·Will have a proven track record of success, with a collaborative and participative management style.
·Ability to translate concepts into viable products or business solutions
·Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
