Position Overview

The Product Manager, Broker Platforms will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for LightBox’s broker marketing and listing platforms. This role will steward two established commercial real estate broker products while leading the phased development of a next-generation broker platform experience that supports the future of investment sales workflows.

These products are central to LightBox’s vision of sitting at the heart of the investment sales ecosystem by helping capital markets teams source listing opportunities, market properties, engage investors, manage deal activity, and close transactions faster. This is a high-impact product role at the intersection of legacy product stewardship, customer discovery, platform modernization, and new product development.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and execution-oriented product leader with experience building B2B SaaS, marketplace, workflow, data, or commercial real estate technology products. This person will bring strong product judgment, customer empathy, analytical discipline, and the ability to align Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Data, AI, and business stakeholders around a clear product direction.

What you will do and achieve

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for LightBox’s broker platform portfolio, including two existing broker products and the next-generation broker platform experience.
  • Balance near-term product enhancements, customer needs, and operational support for existing platforms with the long-term strategy to consolidate and modernize the broker product experience.
  • Define the migration and sunset strategy for legacy broker products, including feature parity planning, customer transition sequencing, data portability, communication needs, and adoption milestones.
  • Develop a clear positioning framework for the next-generation broker platform relative to legacy products, customer needs, and competitive alternatives.
  • Conduct continuous product discovery with investment sales brokers, capital markets teams, brokerage leadership, and related customers to understand workflows, pain points, buying drivers, and adoption barriers.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of broker workflows across listing creation, property marketing, investor targeting, campaign engagement, IOI and LOI management, seller reporting, and deal execution.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to define requirements, prioritize work, evaluate tradeoffs, and ship product capabilities iteratively.
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other go-to-market teams to support packaging, pricing, launch planning, sales enablement, and adoption strategies for new features and platform releases.
  • Work with Data Platform and AI teams to identify opportunities to enrich broker workflows with property, ownership, transaction, investor, market, and engagement data.
  • Define, track, and communicate product KPIs, including listing volume, customer adoption, migration progress, campaign engagement, DAU/MAU, workflow completion, retention, customer satisfaction, and NPS.
  • Use customer feedback, product usage data, competitive insight, and business priorities to make informed product decisions and adjust roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot product issues, clarify expected behavior, and identify opportunities to improve usability, performance, and customer value.
  • Create clear product documentation, business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, launch materials, and stakeholder communications.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders, resolve competing priorities, and maintain alignment around product goals, delivery milestones, and customer outcomes

Who you are Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or a related field required, or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA, product management certification, real estate coursework, or related advanced education preferred but not required.

Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, marketplace, workflow software, commercial real estate technology, fintech, data products, or a related software environment.
  • Experience owning product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, prioritization, launch planning, and product performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting legacy product modernization, platform migration, product consolidation, or major product transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Experience working with commercial real estate brokers, investment sales teams, capital markets workflows, listing platforms, marketplace products, or deal marketing technology strongly preferred.
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Data, and senior business stakeholders to deliver product outcomes.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery, workflow analysis, competitive research, and product validation with business users.
  • Experience using product analytics, customer feedback, usage data, and business metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Experience supporting pricing, packaging, launch planning, sales enablement, or go-to-market strategy in partnership with commercial teams preferred.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding cross-functional team members, junior product team members, or product-adjacent stakeholders preferred.

  • Strong product management skills, including product strategy, roadmap ownership, prioritization, requirements definition, discovery, delivery, launch planning, and performance measurement.
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS platforms, marketplace dynamics, workflow products, and customer adoption patterns.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate broker workflows, investment sales, capital markets, property marketing, investor engagement, and transaction processes preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and market opportunities to make sound product decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret product usage data, customer feedback, market signals, and business performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to work closely with Engineering and Design to define requirements, clarify tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality product experiences.
  • Ability to support go-to-market planning, product positioning, packaging, pricing input, launch readiness, and sales enablement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple products, competing priorities, and phased delivery milestones.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining customer focus, product discipline, and accountability.
