Summary

We are seeking a motivated Associate Product Manager to join our dynamic team at our Fremont, CA office. In this role, you will be responsible for development and management of our product lines, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals. This position is crucial for enhancing our product offerings and contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch IT solutions.

Job Description:

  • Monitor open purchase orders, track vendor ETAs, and communicate status updates to internal sales teams.
  • Analyze product sales trends, inventory levels, and run rates to support demand forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Review and release sales order holds in accordance with Product Manager guidelines.
  • Provide timely support to sales representatives regarding product availability, pricing, promotions, and product-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to obtain product availability, lead times, pricing updates, and shipment information.
  • Track vendor rebate programs, sales incentives, MDF, and floor day activities to ensure program compliance and maximize profitability.
  • Submit and monitor SPA (Special Pricing Authorization), bid requests, and meet-competition pricing requests.
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing, promotion, and vendor program information within internal systems.
  • Assist with new product introductions, product lifecycle management, and pricing updates.
  • Prepare reports and analyze sales, inventory, and vendor performance to support business decisions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sales support, inventory planning, or distribution preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience working with technology products or IT distribution is preferred but not required.
