Role Summary
Financial Analyst will be required to spend a significant amount of time in a pharmacy and understand the full cost of producing compounds. Some examples are the cost savings from the ability to batch a product. Conversely, the true cost of making a custom formulation, basic pharmacy terminology. Spending time at Florida and Georgia pharmacy locations may be necessary.

- Price Analysis:• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify pricing trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior.
- Analyze historical sales data and pricing structures to identify opportunities for improvement. Specifically, sophisticate our current pricing calculator, to help us understand the appropriate price points for some of our top products (including those for our B2B partners).
- Pricing Strategy Development:• Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Propose and implement pricing adjustments based on market conditions and business objectives.
- Data Modeling and Forecasting:• Utilize statistical models and financial forecasting techniques to project the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize pricing structures.
- Competitor Benchmarking:• Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market trends to ensure our pricing remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Conduct regular benchmarking exercises to identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:• Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to gather input and ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Communicate pricing decisions and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Pricing Optimization:• Continuously assess and refine pricing models to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and manage pricing optimization tools and technologies.
- Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance is required or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to accuracy and detail required.
- Proficiency with financial software and tools, NetSuite highly preferred.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis processes and packages.
- Outstanding communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Experience in a corporate finance setting.

- Profit Margin Improvement: Monitor and aim to improve the overall profit margins on compounded medications.
- Price Elasticity Analysis: Evaluate the impact of price changes on demand and sales to identify the optimal pricing strategy.
- Competitive Pricing Benchmark: Regularly assess and compare the pricing of compounded medications against competitors in the market.
- Market Share Growth: Track the company's market share in the compounded medications segment and work towards increasing it.
- Price Variance Analysis: Analyze price variances and discrepancies to ensure consistency in pricing across different products and markets.
- Customer Retention and Satisfaction: Measure customer satisfaction with pricing structures and assess the impact of pricing changes on customer retention.
- Proposal Win Rate: Monitor the success rate of pricing proposals submitted to clients for compounded medications.
- Discount Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of discounts and promotional pricing strategies in driving sales without compromising profitability.
- Revenue Growth: Set and track revenue growth targets for the compounded medications segment.
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Analysis: Analyze the cost structure of compounded medications to optimize pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Time to Market for New Pricing Strategies: Measure the speed at which new pricing strategies are implemented and their impact on the market.
- Customer Segmentation Analysis: Segment customers based on their preferences, behaviors, and willingness to pay, adjusting pricing strategies accordingly.
- Price Change Implementation Accuracy: Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of implementing price changes, minimizing errors in the process.
- Return on Investment (ROI) for Pricing Initiatives: Assess the ROI of pricing-related initiatives, including technology investments or process improvements.
