We go back a fair bit too – 200 years to be exact. Fast-forward to today and we’re proud to be one of the UK's leading providers of personal lines insurance and a certified Top Employer in the UK for five consecutive years, in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Our UK team stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our most important people – our customers, brokers and partners. We have more than 7 million customers and are proud to offer brilliant service when it matters. By having the customer at heart in everything we do, we scooped the Personal Lines Insurer of the Year Award at the British Insurance Awards in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2026. Additionally, we received the Personal Lines Insurer of the Year Award at the Insurance Times Awards in 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025, and achieved The Institute of Customer Service’s coveted ServiceMark with Distinction Accreditation. In 2025 we also acquired esure Group with their customer facing brands and the motor and home underwriting arm of Saga (AICL) as part of our 20-year partnership with them.
