Bonapolia is a family-owned IT staff augmentation company based in Lisbon, Portugal. We help product companies and IT consultancies across Europe and the US extend their engineering capacity with senior specialists. Two ways to work with us: ▸ Staff Augmentation — one or more senior engineers embedded into your existing team. Typically 6+ months, billed hourly with monthly invoicing. ▸ Dedicated Teams — small, cross-functional squads built around a product or defined delivery scope. Long-term engagements, billed monthly. We don't provide permanent placement or executive search. We work without a bench: every search begins with your stack, seniority, domain, team culture, and time-zone requirements. You receive 2–3 calibrated profiles — not a database export of whoever happens to be available. We source engineers across Eastern Europe, the Baltics, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and LATAM. Bonapolia LDA was incorporated in 2023, but our operating experience goes back much further. Founder Bogdan Furundzhi previously spent six years leading an outstaffing program supporting Procter & Gamble, scaling it from 30 to 1,200 people with a core operating team of five. Today, Bonapolia is still run by five people — on purpose. Clients work directly with the same core team throughout the engagement, from briefing and sourcing to contracting and ongoing support.
