Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is a rapid capability integrator helping the U.S. Department of Defense move complex, software-driven capability from design to deployment faster. The hardest part of modernization is often integrating new technology across existing systems, proving it performs as intended, generating the evidence required for authorization, and adapting it as operational needs change. IDT focuses on those bottlenecks. We combine automation, digital engineering, high-fidelity virtualization, mission engineering, and deployable computing to integrate systems earlier, automate test and evaluation, validate end-to-end mission performance, and bring integration and performance insight closer to operational environments. Across more than 300 defense projects, IDT has helped compress integration and certification timelines, expand test coverage, reduce manual effort, and enable new mission threads across complex, multi-vendor systems. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, IDT supports customers across the Department of Defense from offices in Virginia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and California.
