Minerva Defence and Security provides products, services and capabilities to those who are responsible for public safety, the protection of critical national infrastructure and the prevention of organised crime and terrorism. Detailed below are a couple of national projects that we are currently conducting; 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔 Project Noctua is an innovative initiative designed to enhance emergency service response across the UK through cutting-edge UAV technology. Supporting law enforcement, ambulance, fire, and coastguard services, we improve speed, precision, and safety in critical missions. With a focus on both Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) and advancing Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations, Project Noctua is transforming emergency response by providing real-time situational awareness, enhancing search and rescue, surveillance, and coordination. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: - Project Ocean Air: Enhancing maritime and coastal rescue - Project Custodian: Elevating law enforcement operational oversight - Project Revive: Delivering life-saving equipment for critical patients - Project Fire Eye: Detecting and preventing urban and wildfire threats Project Noctua is redefining emergency services, equipping teams with the tools needed to meet modern challenges. 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗘 Op Red Kite is a pioneering initiative by Minerva Defence & Security to combat the surge in agricultural GPS theft, which cost the UK £4.2 million in 2023—a 137% increase on previous years. The operation addresses the organised crime networks, often from Eastern Europe, behind these thefts and provides innovative solutions to prevent future incidents. These include the Protected Asset Database, a DIY theft prevention kit in partnership with Tracker UK and SelectaDNA, robust GPS locking systems, and tracking devices that alert when stolen.
