Music & Lights is the company behind PROLIGHTS: professional lighting designed, engineered and built in Minturno, Italy. We design, manufacture and distribute lighting technology for concerts, theatre, TV, film and architecture. Our fixtures are on international tours, in theatres, on television sets and on the facades of monuments in more than 70 countries, through 50+ distributors. Ariana Grande's tour, Squid Game and the Cairo Egyptian Museum are three of the places our light has ended up. Everything happens in one place. Design, development, validation, logistics, marketing and technical support all sit on the same 12,000 sqm site, between Rome and Naples. You do not work on an abstract slice of a process here: you see the object take shape, you hold it in your hands, you switch it on. We started out on the other side of the stage, rigging systems for live events, and we have not forgotten it. Founded in 1990 in a fifteen-square-metre garage, we are still a family business, and that changes how work happens: decisions are made quickly, there are few layers of hierarchy, and whoever proposes a solution is usually the person who sees it through. WORKING HERE 70 people, average age 35. Responsibility is earned through results, not seniority: almost everyone now leading a department or a project joined us as an intern.
