Headquartered in Lowell, MA, with employees and projects spanning the country, New Leaf Energy was formed in 2022 out of Borrego’s market-leading solar and energy storage development business, which extends back to 1980. At New Leaf Energy, we partner with landowners, utilities, and local communities to secure, design, and permit commercial, community, and utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects and prepare them for sale to long-term asset owners. Together with our partners, we aim to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy in service of the goal of rapidly decarbonizing our society.
