Your Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Android framework components and services for automotive platforms. Working closely with product owners and globally distributed teams, you will deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with automotive requirements and customer needs.

  • Design and develop Android Framework components and HAL services for automotive platforms.
  • Customize AOSP and Android Automotive OS (AAOS) frameworks to align with platform requirements.
  • Develop OEM framework extensions and custom HAL implementations.
  • Integrate and optimize Android framework services for automotive use cases.
  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric features.
  • Perform performance analysis and optimization to meet automotive KPIs.
  • Work on full-stack Android development across framework and middleware layers.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architecture discussions.

Your Profile

  • Strong expertise in Android Framework architecture, AOSP, AAOS, and Android services.
  • Hands-on experience with Android HAL development, custom HAL implementation, and Car Framework.
  • Good understanding of AIDL and HIDL-based communications.
  • Experience in developing OEM Framework Extension Services and Android platform customizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Android and Linux Hardware Abstraction Layers.
  • Proficiency in C++ and experience with Java/Kotlin; exposure to Rust is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Git, version control systems, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile-based software development environments.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.

Education
