Java Developer in Payments Baltic IT team

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using the Spring Framework;

• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on OpenShift;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;

• Use GitHub for version control, ensuring code quality through regular reviews;

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality;

• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka, MQ (Message Queues) or RabbitMQ;

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.

What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience);

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development;

• Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC);

• Hands-on experience with OpenShift for container orchestration;

• Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration;

• Solid understanding of API development and integration (RESTful APIs);

• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, MQ (Message Queues) or RabbitMQ;

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
