A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their office near Cincinnati!
Responsibilities:
- Manage
structural engineering project tasks including creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff/design team members
- Sign/seal
work as required
- Analyze/design
transportation-related structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations)
- Serve
as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials
- Assist
with the preparation of engineering project proposals
- Collaborate
with Leadership, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions
- Ensure
compliance with company safety procedures
Requirements
- Master’s degree in civil or structural
engineering a plus
- 8+
years of bridge design experience
- Registered
PE
- Structural Engineer licensure preferred
- Experience
leading a project
- Highly
proficient with structural analysis and design software
- Strong
knowledge of bridge construction materials (Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete), construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
- Proficient
with MicroStation and ORD platforms
- Project
Management experience with DOT clients
- Team
Leader Bride Inspection certification preferred
- Eagerness
to work on a wide variety of project types
Salary is commensurate with experience.
