About the team & this role

Sateliot is building its AI capability from the ground up. This is an early role on a team that is still taking shape, which means real ownership and the chance to shape how AI projects are planned and delivered at Sateliot from the start.

As AI Project Manager, you make sure the right AI projects get built, well and on time. You own the delivery of each project end to end: understanding what's needed, planning across the team, and keeping scope, timelines, budget and dependencies under control so that everything we build lands on the roadmap it was meant to serve.

The scope goes beyond individual projects, though. The AI team is organized in several connected verticals, and you are also the person who keeps that whole engine running day to day: managing the team's work in tools like Jira, making sure every task across every vertical is visible, owned, on track and unblocked. You track not only where each project stands with its stakeholders, but how the team itself is functioning at task level.

What you'll do

At project level:

• Understand the need: work with requesters and end users to understand what each AI project must actually solve.

• Plan across the team: coordinate with the different areas of the AI department to plan each project in the most effective way.

• Run each project: manage scope, timelines, budget and dependencies for every AI project, end to end.

• Avoid duplication: keep visibility across the portfolio so effort isn't duplicated between projects.

• Deliver: ensure each project ships on time, at quality, within budget, and aligned with Sateliot's roadmap.

At team level:

• Own day-to-day execution: run the team's task management in Jira (or similar) — boards, backlog, priorities, deadlines and task status, always up to date.

• Track implementation at task level: follow product build closely, spot blockers, delays and risks early, and push them to resolution.

• Cover all verticals: apply the same task-level follow-up to every workstream of the AI team; product implementation, R&D, data science, learning & development, so the whole team operates as one connected system.

• Make progress visible: give the team and stakeholders a clear, current picture of what's moving, what's blocked and what's next.

What you bring

• Proven experience managing technical, software or AI projects end to end.

• Strong command of project management fundamentals: scope, planning, budget, risk and dependencies.

• Hands-on, daily-driver experience with task management tools like Jira (or similar): boards, workflows, backlog management and reporting.

• Experience running a team's agile day-to-day execution, sprints, stand-ups, task follow-up, unblocking, not just high-level project plans.

• Comfort tracking different kinds of work in parallel, where progress doesn't always look the same.

• Ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders, and to keep both aligned.

• Fluent level of English.

Bonus if you have

• Experience in AI/ML, data or other deep-tech projects.

• A project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or an agile/Scrum credential).

• Genuine curiosity about space, connectivity or IoT.
