Job Summary and Department Description
The Digital Solutions Project Manager is a key role in the digital transformation of Avant Healthcare Professionals. The role will oversee projects in the digital transformation program, as well as develop project management practice. The Digital Solutions Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering cross-functional projects that advance the company’s technology modernization and digitization priorities. This role translates strategic initiatives into structured project plans, establishes clear governance, manages risks, and supports the adoption of new technologies, with projects that will encompass operational integrations, automation, mobile applications, and AI-enabled tools. The Digital Solutions Project Manager partners with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule. This role will champion project management best practices within the organization and educate and enforce project management best practices in a vibrant environment.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology, digitization, automation, integration, and business process improvement projects from initiation through implementation and closeout
- Create and maintain project charters, scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, risk and issue logs, decision logs, and status reports
- Interact with senior management on project risks, options, and status; identifying, assessing and managing project risks, dependencies, issues, constraints, change requests, and escalating matters requiring leadership decisions
- Translate business needs into clear project requirements, process maps, success measures, and implementation plans in partnership with business and technical stakeholders
- Provide timely, audience-appropriate project and portfolio reporting to the VP, executive sponsors, project teams, and other stakeholders
- Support responsible AI, data quality, privacy, cybersecurity, document retention, and compliance requirements within assigned projects
- Use waterfall, agile, scrum, or hybrid delivery practices based on project needs and maintain consistent PMO standards and documentation
- Coordinate vendor deliverables, project dependencies, service commitments, and roadmap activities in partnership with the senior management and internal stakeholders
- Partner with VP, Technology & Digital Solutions to support project governance, portfolio visibility, prioritization, and alignment with the technology roadmap and organizational goals
- Introduce PM accepted best practices into other project areas, offering guidance and education when introducing new project management concepts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO methodologies, templates, SOPs, governance practices, and lessons learned
- Partner and build relationships with business owners, Learning & Development, and other stakeholders on change management, communications, training, adoption, and digital enablement activities
- Enforce PM standards are accepted at the highest level

Normal Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.
Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- PMP, CAPM certification preferred
- Minimum of 6 years in technology leadership, digital transformation, or enterprise systems management
- Experience in staffing, healthcare technology, or workforce solutions with a strong understanding of healthcare compliance desired
- Digitization and AI experience highly preferred
- Expertise with and implementing CRM ERM, Applicant Tracking, HR, and Financial platforms
- Comfortable with SaaS or on-prem models
- Deep integration experience (API strategies, iPaaS, platform governance)
- Competencies in portfolio management, and change management
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; detail-oriented and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to stand behind and enforce PM standards
- Strong vendor management and negotiation experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of project governance, planning, risk management, budget tracking, change control, stakeholder communication, and waterfall, agile, scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Specific Requirements of Law
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain
