Domain knowledge on Trading lifecycle, SWIFT Technical skills: Java, Cobol, CICs, C++, DB2 MF, MS SQL, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Tomcat Apache, Gitlab Protocols: Rest API, SFTP/FTP, MQ, LDAP

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding the technical vision and architectural decisions for bespoke software projects. This role includes overseeing the design and implementation phases, ensuring that development practices meet high standards for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders and teams is a key part of the daily routine to align technical solutions with business goals and to drive successful project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to promote a productive work environment. - Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and skill development. - Monitor project progress and implement improvements to optimize delivery timelines and quality. - Promote best practices in software development and encourage innovation within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Trading Services Front Office, Banking. - Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to enterprise applications. - Experience in ensuring code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous integration. - Ability to optimize application performance and scalability in complex software environments. - Familiarity with development lifecycle management and agile methodologies.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
