Position Overview

LINC is seeking a Project Manager to join our Launch Team and support the successful implementation of new operations across our network. This role will be responsible for coordinating all phases of a startup project, ensuring operational readiness, meeting customer expectations, and delivering launch objectives on time and within budget.

This position requires extensive travel, with an anticipated 36-40 weeks per year spent supporting launch activities on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of new business startups and operational launches.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate startup activities across multiple departments to ensure operational readiness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders, customers, and launch teams.
  • Track project progress and escalate risks, delays, or resource constraints as necessary.
  • Facilitate launch meetings and provide regular project updates to leadership.
  • Support staffing, training, equipment installation, process implementation, and customer onboarding efforts.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Safety, HR, IT, and Finance to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive accountability across project teams and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization throughout the launch process.
  • Assist with post-launch stabilization and transition activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of project management, operations management, logistics, manufacturing, or startup experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent leadership and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project-related tools.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, automotive, or transportation operations.
  • Previous startup, launch, implementation, or greenfield project experience.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • PMP certification or project management training.
  • Automotive industry experience.
