YOUR ROLE

The Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing engineering and process improvement of site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant operation. The role oversees technical performance, maintenance strategy, improvement projects, and cross-functional support to maintain business continuity and meet operational requirements

As the Engineering Manager you need to ensure all the Facilities System compliance with

Malaysia and local authority regulations; TNB, SAJ, SPAN, DOE, DOSH, etc

Insurance (Loss Prevention) design and system requirement

FMEA – Resilience and Robustness programs

Operational Procedures (SOP/LOP/POR/WI/OCAP)

System Efficiency Monitoring

Fac System Regulatory Technical Check

You will be accountable for the following responsibility :

Complex Trouble shooting: ITP/Excursion RCA/8D

Facilities System & Equipment Efficiency Improvement

Ensure Documents (P&ID=as built) update & available

Improvement Roadmaps Management

Preparing all the technical specifications & scope of work

Design review and approval from Central Technical team.

Commissioning and acceptance procedures upon project completion.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in facility systems operation & maintenance
  • Familiarity with facilities system in semi-conductor industry; clean room, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Compressed Dry Air (CDA), vacuum, Super Insulated Vacuum Line (SIVL), Speciality Gas, Bulk Chemical Distribution System (BCDS), Waste Water Treatment Plant, Fluorite Waste Treatment Plant, Spent Concentrate Chemical (SCC), Heat Exhaust, Scrubber
  • Strong knowledge in design and assessment of Facilities system
  • Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Technical leadership
