About the Role

You will be part of the Data and Digital Office, supporting both clinical research and healthcare operational analytics. Working closely with clinicians, researchers, and operational stakeholders, you will harness data to generate insights that improve patient outcomes, care quality, and operational efficiency. You will also contribute to cancer research evidence generation by translating clinical questions into rigorous analytical outputs.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Access, extract, clean, and manage large-scale healthcare and administrative datasets, developing reproducible data pipelines and well-documented analytical workflows

• Analyse hospital operational and clinical datasets to support quality improvement and value-based care initiatives

• Conduct clinical research analyses focused on cancer care, outcomes, and treatment patterns using hospital-based clinical and administrative data

• Generate high-quality tables, figures, and summary outputs for manuscripts, reports, policy briefs, grant submissions, and operational planning needs

• Apply AI applications across projects, including information extraction, entity recognition, and predictive analysis using machine learning models

• Adhere strictly to data security, privacy, and governance requirements when working with sensitive health data

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Bioinformatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, and/or Business Analytics

• Proficiency in Python or R for data wrangling and analysis is essential

• Knowledge of other tools such as SQL, OBIEE, JSON, XML, Tableau, and experience with structured and unstructured data processing will be an advantage

• Experience in healthcare data and health data standards is desirable

• Understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, or research processes is preferred

• Meticulous, with excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders concurrently
