Role Purpose

The BU Senior Finance Business Analyst supports COC Business Units through financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement across a division exceeding $5B in revenue. This role partners with finance, business, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, actionable financial insights while enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities through automation, standardization, and digital solutions. The position also helps advance a more data-driven, efficient finance organization by improving data visibility, streamlining processes, and strengthening decision support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with finance and manufacturing leadership to provide analysis and insights on revenue, OpEx, cost performance, pricing, product line P&L, and margin performance.
  • Translate business needs into analyses, reporting tools, dashboards, and decision-support solutions.
  • Manage and enhance Power BI reporting, visualizations, and self-service analytics to improve access to financial and operational information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key metrics, and priorities aligned to business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, standardization, scalability, and reporting consistency.
  • Maintain reporting definitions, data logic, and supporting documentation to improve transparency and usability across teams.
  • Support month-end close, forecasting, and planning processes, including Forecast, Green Book, and Black Book.
  • Contribute to business cases, scenario modeling, ad hoc analysis, and cross-functional initiatives supporting strategic decisions and growth opportunities.
  • Identify data quality, reporting, and process gaps, and partner with relevant teams to resolve issues and improve governance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging traditional methods and leveraging automation and digital tools to streamline manual processes.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • 3 plus years of progressive finance experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to clearly present financial and operational insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis capabilities, including translating business needs into reporting, process improvements, and decision-support solutions.
  • Experience with digital and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, and related automation or data visualization platforms, including development of dashboards, KPIs, and self-service reporting.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems such as SAP, Longview, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies, standardize workflows, improve data quality and governance, and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The range for this position is $79,709.00 - $109,600.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
