Rainbow Restoration of Sacramento is looking for a driven and experienced Mitigation Project Manager to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities:
- Manage water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion
- Conduct on-site inspections and develop detailed scope of work and project plans
- Coordinate and supervise field technicians, subcontractors, and crews to ensure quality and efficiency
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the project lifecycle
- Document project progress, moisture readings, and mitigation activities using industry software
- Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, safety protocols, and company guidelines
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to maximize profitability and client satisfaction
Requirements:
- Prior experience in water/fire/mold mitigation or restoration project management strongly preferred
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, or similar) a plus
- Strong knowledge of mitigation processes, drying science, and industry best practices
- Experience working with insurance claims and documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with restoration management software (Xactimate, Dash, or similar) preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
