Team Overview
The Risk Management Data Team plays a central role in collecting, maintaining, and managing alternative investment data across Aksia’s proprietary systems. The team supports Aksia’s investment professionals and clients by helping ensure that investment manager and fund information is accurate, complete, timely, and consistently maintained.
The team works closely with investment managers and internal investment professionals to collect and validate investment data, monitor data quality and completeness, and maintain information made available through Aksia’s internal and client-facing platforms. The team covers a broad universe of alternative investment managers and funds across hedge funds, private credit, private equity, and real assets.
Position Overview
Aksia is seeking an Analyst to join our Athens Risk Management Data Team, with a focus on Private Markets investments across Private Credit, Private Equity, and Real Assets.
The Analyst will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, validating, and maintaining investment manager and fund data within Aksia’s proprietary systems. The role involves working with investment managers and Aksia’s investment professionals to ensure that information is accurately and consistently captured and maintained, supporting reliable data for both internal users and Aksia’s clients.
The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working with large volumes of investment data. The candidate should be able to organize and analyze information effectively, identify inconsistencies or data quality issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
This position will be based in Aksia’s Athens office and will involve regular interaction with investment managers and colleagues across Aksia’s global offices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Private Markets investment managers to collect and validate investment data across Private Credit, Private Equity, and Real Assets
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date manager, fund, and other relevant investment data within Aksia’s proprietary systems
- Reviewing investment manager reporting and supporting documentation to capture relevant information accurately and consistently
- Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, gaps, and other data quality issues in coordination with investment managers and internal teams
- Applying established data quality standards and validation controls to ensure the integrity and consistency of Private Markets investment data
- Contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives designed to increase efficiency, scalability, and data quality
- Supporting ad hoc data analysis, reporting, and data-related projects as required
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience; experience or internships within financial services, investment management, data management, or a related field will be considered a plus
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, review, and analyze significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
