About the Department:
We are looking for a Associate Distribution Data Management Analyst to join the Distribution Intelligence team. This role owns defined data-management workstreams for Distribution, including BAU data operations, data clean-up, metadata maintenance, data-quality execution, ad hoc request support, and project validation. The analyst will bridge business users, source systems, technology partners, and analytics consumers by ensuring distribution data is accurate, traceable, well documented, and fit for use across sales, marketing, reporting, and AI/BI consumption.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on data operations experience, analytical problem-solving, and clear business communication. This person will be comfortable investigating data issues, executing controls, supporting business users, and improving repeatable processes across distribution data domains.
How will you add value ?
Distribution Data Operations:
- Work on day-to-day data operations requests from Distribution business partners, including client data updates, CRM/MSD ticket support, AUM/flow validation, trade resolution or reallocation support, and governed data corrections.
- Respond to ad hoc data questions, troubleshoot data integration or integrity issues, and provide basic technical analysis with clear business-facing explanations.
Data Quality & Process Control:
- Document, maintain, and execute ongoing processes for data clean-up, metadata maintenance, SOP updates, and evidence retention.
- Run recurring data audits, reconciliations, quality checks, and UAT support based on BAU and project needs.
Systems Knowledge & User Enablement:
- Develop working knowledge of upstream and downstream systems and explain how data flow affects Distribution users and reporting consumers.
- Share best practices with data consumers on the right source, field, process, and control path for common data needs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify recurring manual work or defect patterns and propose practical improvements that reduce cycle time or improve accuracy.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?
Experience, Education & Certifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in data management or operations.
- Experience in financial services, banking, asset management, sales operations, or marketing operations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business analytics, finance, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Ability to analyse large datasets and identify exceptions.
- Experience with CRM platforms and ticketing workflows.
- Experience supporting data quality, data cleanup, and UAT activities.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues to business audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
