Avania are hiring - Project Manager
Avania is looking for a Project Manager to lead clinical trials from planning through delivery. You will act as the conductor of each trial, bringing cross-functional teams together to deliver high-quality work on time, within scope, and in line with the study protocol.
This role is suited to someone who is passionate about clinical trial project management, eager to keep learning, and ready to take ownership in a supportive environment. What you’ll do - Project Manager
- Lead EU-based and global clinical or medical device trials, coordinating work across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Programming, Data Management, and other functions.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements using tools such as Microsoft Project or Gantt charts.
- Monitor project finances, including scope, monthly invoicing, unit- or milestone-based deliverables, revenue performance, profit margins, and potential financial losses.
- Identify when changes in scope or change orders are needed and communicate the supporting rationale clearly.
- Manage external vendors and ensure their work aligns with project requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Review study protocols and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with protocol requirements.
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Maintain regular communication with functional leads to understand priorities, resource needs, dependencies, and progress.
- Navigate competing priorities collaboratively and support effective resource planning across projects.
- Use performance metrics and KPIs to monitor execution and support strategic alignment.
- Contribute to standardized project management processes and a culture of continuous improvement.
