Full description

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) seeks a highly organized professional to support the administrative needs of the Product Development team and ensure timely completion of design programs. This individual will provide administrative guidance and support to accomplish the product development objectives of the company. Successful candidates are quick thinking, have excellent conversational skills, and get satisfaction from helping others accomplish their goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the engineering teams to develop new products by planning, reviewing, and maintaining project materials.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, action items, and risk registers by participating in internal and customer meetings and communications.
  • Expertly guide new products through the development phase gate process (Requirement, Design, Test, and Production Reviews) by working with the engineering and/or manufacturing teams to generate and present the required content at each phase gate.
  • Maintain requirements and deliverables in the Requirements Management System (Jama).
  • Assist engineering leads in reporting status by generating content for roll-up into the bi-monthly engineering report.
  • Support new configuration creation efforts for existing products by coordinating engineering and manufacturing efforts based on changes from an existing configuration definition.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and be comfortable in a technical environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI.

Desired Qualifications

  • Display a strong sense of urgency.
  • Direct experience with external customer communication and documentation.
  • Experience with requirements management.
