This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Admin Leader based in India.
This is a senior, business-facing Salesforce leadership role responsible for the stability, governance, and continuous improvement of a complex multi-cloud environment. You will translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring strong security, data quality, release management, and user experience. The role spans Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ/CLM. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, turning technical concepts into clear recommendations and actionable roadmaps. The position combines hands-on platform administration, DevOps and release management, troubleshooting, governance, and change management. You will also drive adoption, training, documentation, and platform optimization while identifying opportunities to leverage underused capabilities. Accountabilities
- Manage Salesforce users, licenses, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, organization-wide defaults, sharing rules, and other security configurations.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce functionality including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile capabilities, dashboards, and reports.
- Support Salesforce environments across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ/CLM.
- Lead sandbox management, deployment activities, DevOps processes, and release management across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions that deliver strong user experiences.
- Develop and maintain a Salesforce platform roadmap, establishing priorities in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Identify unused or underutilized Salesforce capabilities and recommend improvements that increase platform value and efficiency.
- Own communications surrounding platform changes, ensuring users and stakeholders understand new functionality, processes, and impacts.
- Maintain Salesforce data quality through governance rules, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform proactive platform maintenance, including security reviews, Salesforce releases, health checks, and Optimizer assessments.
- Manage and resolve user support requests while monitoring and improving user adoption across the organization.
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for users and key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation covering platform configuration, processes, and changes.
- Coordinate integrated applications and third-party vendors supporting the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Apply knowledge of Apex, triggers, Flow, LWC, SOQL, design patterns, and testing frameworks to troubleshoot issues and collaborate effectively with development teams.
Requirements
- 10–11 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and deployment experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Apttus CPQ/CLM.
- Proven experience managing release processes in multi-org and/or multi-cloud Salesforce environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Apttus CPQ/CLM configuration, troubleshooting, and administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I certifications are preferred.
- Strong understanding of Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, triggers, Salesforce design patterns, and testing frameworks.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Proven experience with Salesforce governance, change management, DevOps, and release management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Strong training and documentation capabilities, including the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
- Proactive approach to platform enhancement, system maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Responsive and customer-oriented approach to user questions and support needs.
- Commitment to continued professional development and engagement with the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Ability to work remotely from India and align with working hours of approximately 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST.
