Thenamaris (Ships Management) Inc. manages Tanker vessels, Thenamaris ConBulk Inc. manages bulk carriers and containerships, while Thenamaris LNG Inc. manages LNG and LPG carriers.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a range of reporting and analysis duties. More specifically, the individual will support internal reporting activities, with a focus on running and/or administrative expenses. Additional accountabilities include working with and coordinating relevant departments during the annual budgeting process and quarterly reviews, maintaining the financial planning tool, and supporting financial processes as required. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments and will have direct exposure to members of the Management Team.

The role reports to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the below requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other relevant fields. A Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or an MBA, is a strong asset.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in a relevant role within a Finance department, preferably in shipping or multinational companies.
  • Experience with planning and reporting systems is a prerequisite, whilst experience in the SAP system will be considered an asset.
  • A responsible and enthusiastic individual with strong business acumen.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured and result-oriented approach.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
  • PC literacy, advanced user of MS Office and Excel in particular.
