The ideal candidate is a highly skilled data analyst with excellent communication skills, writes clear and detailed JIRA user stories, and collaborates closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that data systems are accurate and reporting is reliable and transparent. Experience in statistical modeling (e.g., logistic regression) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data to support accurate reporting and policy decision-making
  • Identify trends, correlations, and patterns within data to help drive business decisions
  • Perform validation and transformation to ensure consistency, completeness, and reliability across data sources
  • Partner with QA to support test case development and validation of requirements
  • Apply statistical modeling and analytical methods (e.g., logistic regression, risk adjustment, or trend analysis) to identify insights and patterns in large, complex datasets
  • Develop and maintain visualizations and reports that effectively communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure data outputs align with business objectives and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and QA analysts to ensure data and reporting requirements are clearly defined, implemented, and validated through iterative sprints
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, system, and functional requirements, processes, and workflows using Agile principles
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Triage and expedite production support tickets, work with user support teams to provide issue updates, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution
  • Identify and document data issues, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement in analytics and reporting processes
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data quality assurance activities to confirm that analytics and reports meet stakeholder expectations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a healthcare related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst in Agile development environments.
  • Experience using data querying tools (e.g.,SQL, DBeaver) and/or statistical programming tools (e.g., SAS, Stata, R).
