Full description

The ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Europe team , is looking for a Finance Analyst (M/F).

The position is based in Luxembourg ( Kirchberg)

As Finance Analyst your main responsibilities & missions will be:

  • Monitoring, analyses of the variance and explanations vs. Budget and Forecast for various KPIs of P&L, BS and Cash flow statements
  • Monthly reporting and Monthly Forecast Process

o Ensure timely and accurate reporting in group reporting system (BPM)

o Prepare the monthly reporting templates for the units

o Prepare the consolidation files for your respective areas of responsibility (Free cash Flow analyses, OWCR, Key figures, HR KPIs, fixed/variable cost, profitability by product, EBITDA Bridges, etc)

o Follow up with the units and understand the drivers for the variance vs plan or other relevant period

o Prepare the necessary info/presentations for the Segment/Group and Management team

o Ensure that reported data is consistent and correct and the variances are properly explained

  • Yearly Budget/Strategy preparation:

o Review Budget/strategy info and follow up with the units to get full understanding on the assumptions and details

o Prepare the Consolidation/Presentation for respective area of responsibility

o Budget info in BPM (verify/consolidate/follow up)

  • Specific tasks/projects:

o Responsible for the Credit Management process of Tubular division o Profitability by sales office, by plant and by product – development, maintenance & analyses o Improve data management process o Establishing new reporting requirement (defining the process, training the units etc) o Any other ad hoc request or project part of Finance team responsibility

You will be required to work closely with other Controllers in AMTP, plants and Segment/Group to aggregate and produce required financial analysis and reports for the management.

Skills & Background required:

  • Degree in Finance or equivalent with good accounting knowledge.
  • 5 years of experience in Finance and Controlling planning
  • Previous experience in the plant on similar position in industry and international environnement will be considered as advantage
  • Advanced Excel (use of complex formulas, links between multiple sources etc)
  • Advanced accounting skills, including data analysis
  • Good communication skills, as they are required for a regular communication with the units controllers/CFOs as well as management team
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge of corporate tools will be considered as advantage (BPM)
  • Good knowledge of Database and SAP FICO will be considered as advantage
  • Excellent English speaking skills. Spanish, French will be considered as advantage
