Full description

The Biosample Repository Facility (BRF) Data Analyst will be responsible for performing complex data extraction, manipulation and summarization of large clinical databases to create annotated biospecimen datasets that support research activities. This position will design, analyze and merge complicated data structures from a wide variety of source systems and collaborate with data architects, tumor registrars and other key personnel to ensure integrity of data. The analyst will possess highly effective written and oral communication of complex scientific, analytical, technical information, results/ recommendations to research project teams and BRF staff. Additionally, and as needed, the Analyst will engage with legal and business development teams to facilitate material and data agreements.

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience General Experience with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a commitment to customer service, and an ability to identify and resolve issues quickly Required General Experience and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and advanced medical terminology Required 2 years experience with progression in Information Services or combination in Information Services and Oncology Required General Experience with excellent computer data entry and writing skills with ability to process high-volume workload Required General Experience in Oncology Data Preferred
