About the role:

We are agile cross-site team working with data governance tooling supporting the whole organization. As DevOps engineer you will be responsible for our platform and applications end-to-end, except the hardware. We handle platform administration, support and governance.

This is an engineer role that covers automations, monitoring, platform upgrades and user support. Meaning that you will not spend whole day working on server-side things but also assisting users in becoming compliant with data governance regulations and requirements by guiding them through the applications. Important part of the job is clear communication, structure and creative thinking to resolve issues at hand. We are also working on on-boarding new platforms/applications as well as sunsetting the old ones.

As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Upgrading, monitoring, maintaining our applications stack
  • Supporting users
  • Helping us in on-boarding new platform to the organization
  • Automating manual labour
  • Helping us in staying compliant with internal IT policies
  • Working with vendors to remove any outstanding vulnerabilities

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • Application support engineer experience
  • Hosted either on-premises or cloud environment (cloud is a plus)
  • Linux or Windows operating system
  • Advanced level of knowledge in any programming language
  • Database technology knowledge (relational, non-relational)
  • HTTP protocol stack (good networking understanding)
  • Great communication skills and fluency in English
  • Everything else is a plus:
  • Familiarity with ITIL process
  • Understanding general principles for Data Governance/Data Quality
  • Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex information
  • RESTful API
  • Google Cloud Platform expertise

\n€3,300 - €4,300 a month

The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
