Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

Arclin has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering. This will be a full time position, that would ideally would be Hybrid our of our Corporate Headquarters, which is located in the North Metro Atlanta Area (Alpharetta, GA). There is a possibility of making this a remote role with travel expectations if needed.

About the Role

Arclin is seeking a Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to lead the standards, governance, technical assurance, and continuous improvement of global infrastructure platforms. This leader will guide an internal team while also managing vendors and consultants.

The role provides oversight across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, hybrid infrastructure, enterprise networking, site connectivity, identity, endpoint platforms, and infrastructure supporting SAP S/4HANA / RISE. It partners closely with Infrastructure Operations and Cybersecurity to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, cost-effective, and ready for production support.

What You Will Do

  • Establish global infrastructure standards, configuration baselines, reference patterns, lifecycle plans, and platform roadmaps.
  • Provide technical governance across Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid data center services, systems, identity, endpoint, backup, monitoring, and infrastructure supporting SAP S/4HANA / RISE.
  • Define engineering standards for SD-WAN, WAN, LAN, plant-floor connectivity, secure remote access, network segmentation, and site infrastructure.
  • Review vendor and consultant designs, implementation plans, technical risks, and production-readiness materials; define acceptance criteria before deployment.
  • Lead advanced technical escalation and root-cause analysis, converting recurring operational issues into durable platform improvements.
  • Drive standardization, simplification, technical debt reduction, lifecycle improvement, and selective internal automation.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity to translate approved requirements into infrastructure standards, implementation patterns, and remediation plans.
  • Provide technical governance for infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, business integrations, acquisitions, and site expansions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineers and platform owners while building strong partnerships across Operations, Cybersecurity, vendors, consultants, and business teams.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in engineering leadership, architecture, platform ownership, technical governance, or people leadership roles.
  • Strong experience across multiple infrastructure domains, including Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid infrastructure, enterprise networking, systems, identity and access management, endpoint management, monitoring, backup, or automation.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing technical standards and governing vendor- or consultant-delivered infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of operational readiness, high availability, disaster recovery, infrastructure security principles, documentation, monitoring, and production support requirements.
  • Experience leading technical teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving infrastructure initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical decision-making, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or process-industry experience.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA / RISE, SD-WAN, plant-floor connectivity, secure remote access, global multi-site infrastructure, or operational technology and information technology convergence.

• Experience leading infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, standardization, or acquisition integration initiatives.

• Any of the following certifications, or a combination of multiple certifications:

  • CISSP
  • CCNP Enterprise
  • TOGAF
  • ITIL 4
  • CCSP
  • SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect
  • Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
