Overview

JST is currently seeking an Business Analyst IV to support our team.

BA IV Responsibilities

  • Be a leader in our high performing team that designs, develops, implements, and maintains applications using the latest tools, technologies, and techniques
  • Help our customers enhance their analytic capabilities and the way they integrate, manage, and use their data by creating modern applications
  • Interface with executive stakeholders
  • Select appropriate analysis methodologies and documentation standards
  • Improve organizational business processes including benchmarking with peer organizations
  • Anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and design innovative solutions
  • Consult with program/project management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of product plans and designs
  • Participate in large system and subsystem planning and all aspects of software development including design, development, documentation, testing, and implementation
  • Provide sustainment and maintenance support for existing applications
  • Orchestrate the requirements development for new features in support of rapidly emerging business and project needs
  • Work with agile development methodologies adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys making a difference through technical contributions
  • Stimulate new ideas and offer out-of-the-box thinking
  • Act as team leader as needed in prioritizing group tasks, determining individual assignments, and reviewing work of lower-level analysts
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

BA IV Qualifications

  • Minimum of eight years hands-on relevant experience
  • BS Degree preferably but relevant experienced considered
  • Must have experience with Oracle
  • Strong familiarity with Agile Software Development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

BA IV Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with projects that include application modernization
  • Experience with US Air Force
