Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic development team and contribute to the design, development and enhancement of business-critical applications. You will work on both backend and frontend components, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot
• Design, develop and maintain web application features using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Participate in meetings with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, priorities and delivery timelines
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams and fellow developers
• Contribute to application maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
• Proactively identify, communicate and resolve technical issues and risks
• Ensure compliance with development standards, best practices and quality requirements

 

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Solid experience (5 - 7 years) in software development using Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with modern frontend technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux environments 
• Fluent in English & French (written and spoken)
• Willingness to work on-site and engage closely with business and technical stakeholders
