About the Role The Quality Data Analyst supports our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program by collecting, analyzing, and presenting clinical and operational data across our Home Health and Hospice programs. This position serves as a strategic partner to clinical leadership by helping identify trends, monitor quality indicators, and provide actionable information that improves patient outcomes and organizational performance. Rather than simply reporting numbers, you'll help tell the story behind the data. What You'll Do Data Analysis & Reporting Design and maintain quality dashboards and scorecards Analyze trends in Home Health and Hospice quality measures Prepare reports for leadership, QAPI committees, and regulatory requirements Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems Monitor key performance indicators and identify emerging trends Clinical Performance Analytics Track and analyze measures such as: Hospitalizations Emergency Department utilization Falls Infection trends Wound outcomes OASIS quality measures Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP) metrics Home Health Star Ratings Hospice quality measures (HOPE and CAHPS) Visit utilization Length of Stay Live Discharges Other clinical and operational quality indicators Decision Support Identify opportunities for improvement using clinical and operational data Prepare visual dashboards and presentations for leadership meetings Help prioritize areas requiring further investigation Support Performance Improvement initiatives by measuring baseline performance and tracking results over time Technology & Process Improvement Develop automated reports and dashboards whenever possible Improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual data collection Explore new ways to visualize and communicate quality data Assist with special analytical projects that support organizational goals QualificationsWe're Looking For Someone Who... Loves working with data and solving problems Is naturally curious and asks thoughtful questions Enjoys finding trends that others may miss Can translate complex information into clear, actionable insights Is highly organized and detail-oriented Works well independently while collaborating across departments Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Health Information Management, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience working with healthcare data preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar business intelligence tools preferred Experience building dashboards and visual reports Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Home health, hospice, hospital quality, or healthcare analytics experience is strongly preferred but not required.
