Benefits
Full description
Health Technical Product Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Fully Remote (Germany)
Industry: HealthTech / B2B SaaS
Compensation: €60,000 – €90,000 + equity package
Languages Required: Professional German (C1) & English (C1)
About the Role & Mission
We build intelligent software that takes the administrative weight off psychotherapists, freeing up valuable time so they can focus on delivering care to their patients.
As our first Health Technical Product Manager, you will assume end-to-end ownership of our AI-powered clinical and administrative products. Working fully remote within Germany, you will sit at the cross-section of advanced language models, real-world therapy workflows, and medical device compliance (EU MDR). Partnering closely with our founders, CTO, clinical researchers, and designers, you will drive candidate discovery, draft technical specifications, design evaluation benchmarks, and launch core product lines from zero to one.
What You Will Do
- Product Ownership: Lead product discovery, specification, prioritizing, and delivery across clinical and administrative features for a remote-first engineering workflow.
- Strategic Roadmap: Frame and communicate product priorities, balancing trade-offs between continuous improvements and entirely new initiatives.
- Hands-on Discovery: Shadow therapists, observe documentation patterns, and join sales or support sessions to turn user feedback into well-defined problem briefs.
- AI Evaluation & Quality: Work alongside engineering and clinical teams to establish rigorous quality benchmarks for AI-generated clinical outputs, turning them into evaluation datasets and test suites.
- Technical Specs & Prototyping: Write detailed requirement documents, outline edge cases, and use AI toolings to prototype product ideas independently.
- Embedded Regulatory Compliance: Integrate EU MDR and SaMD requirements directly into early feature designs, building risk mitigation and clinical evaluations into the product lifecycle.
- Ship & Iterate: Coordinate releases with go-to-market teams, track feature adoption, and iterate rapidly based on practitioner feedback.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of Product Management experience in B2B software where success relied on solving intricate product problems over basic process management.
- Proven record in complex, regulated domains: Track record of navigating multi-faceted environments like HealthTech, MedTech, or heavily regulated industries. You know how to balance strict regulatory frameworks (EU MDR), specialist user needs (therapists), high quality standards, and technical AI capabilities.
- Practical LLM knowledge: Solid understanding of how LLM-based products operate, including prompt engineering, output evaluation, edge cases, and deployment constraints.
- Asynchronous Communication: Exceptional written clarity for drafting specs, problem statements, and decision frameworks across a remote setup.
- Execution Focus: A hands-on mindset—you write specs, test edge cases, and manually validate clinical outputs yourself.
- Language Proficiency: C1 fluency in both German and English.
- Location: Resident in Germany for full-time remote work.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Direct experience with medical device software or digital health compliance (EU MDR, IEC 62304).
- Academic or practical background in psychology, therapy, or healthcare.
- Experience shipping generative AI features or building evaluation frameworks at scale.
- Prior experience as a founding product manager or building product processes from scratch.
Core Values & Mindset
- User Empathy: Deep care for mental health professionals, ensuring our technology simplifies their workday rather than introducing friction.
- Data Integrity: Commitment to privacy, security, and absolute reliability when handling sensitive health information.
- Engineering Excellence: Focus on technical accuracy and clinical validity over superficial features.
- High Ownership: Strong self-direction, initiative, and accountability in a fully remote environment.
What We Offer
- Founding Impact: High-visibility role working directly with the founders and CTO to shape product strategy.
- Meaningful Purpose: Directly reduce therapist burnout and improve patient care accessibility.
- Cutting-Edge Learning: Deep immersion at the intersection of generative AI, clinical workflows, and medical regulations.
- Fast Execution: A flat hierarchy where ideas move from design to live production deployment in days.
- Flexible Perks: 100% remote flexibility within Germany, 28 days paid leave, competitive salary (€60,000 – €90,000), and startup equity.
